Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app.
Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
Cancel stops a Buburuza-managed recurring schedule. A deactivated schedule has a separate Activate route that can restart it immediately.
Before you start
Check whether this is a Buburuza-managed schedule or a merchant subscription. Merchant subscriptions can require cancellation in the merchant’s app.
Steps
- Open the intended recurring payment and review its recipient, amount and schedule.
- Choose Cancel and read Are you sure?. Use No, keep the payment to leave it enabled, or Yes, cancel to confirm.
- Check Recurring payment is cancelled and choose Close.
- Find the record under Deactivated. Review its cancellation date, Total paid, Last paid and transaction history.
- To restart it, choose Activate and read Reactivate the payment?. The warning says it starts right away.
- Choose Keep disabled to leave it off, or Yes, reactivate only when you intend the immediate restart. Check the resulting schedule status.
What to expect
After cancellation, check Recurring payment is cancelled and the Deactivated entry. After reactivation, inspect the resulting schedule status before assuming it has restarted.
If something does not work
- Cancellation of future scheduling is separate from reversing an already executed payment.
- Read the current reactivation and retention wording before cancelling.
- Do not reactivate merely to view payment history; history remains shown in the deactivated detail.
Still need help?
Contact Buburuza Support with the affected transaction or purchase reference, current status and error message. If the outcome is unclear, check the existing record before trying again. Never include full card details, passwords or verification codes.
