A recurring payment combines payment instructions with a frequency, start/end settings and an optional reminder. Enabling it can execute a payment immediately when the start date is today.
Before you start
Have the recipient, amount, funding source and intended schedule ready before starting the recurring-payment form.
Steps
- Open Recurring payments and use the add action to start Set up recurring payment.
- Choose the recipient or payment route from the offered user, bank, crypto or between-account entries. Complete that payment’s instructions.
- Choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly.
- Check Starts and Ends. Starts is shown as Today and Ends can be No end date. Use the calendar controls to set the intended date values and continue.
- Set Payment reminders if you want the offered notification before each payment processes.
- On Review recurring payment, check Type, Starting from, Until, Duration and the transfer information.
- If Starting from is today, read the warning that a transaction is made after enabling. Use the Enable payment slider only when the schedule and immediate effect match your intention.
- Check Recurring payment is set, the amount and the frequency/date label. Add an attachment or private Internal note if needed, then choose Close.
Expected result
Recurring payment is set confirms creation of the schedule. It does not by itself confirm that a scheduled payment has executed.
If something does not work
- Creating a schedule is different from each scheduled transfer completing. Check the individual execution history.
- Check the frequency and start date before enabling; an immediate first payment can be intended by the schedule.
- Reminders are a preference, not proof that a payment processed.
- If Until and Duration disagree, review and correct the schedule before enabling it.
- If setup is interrupted, check Recurring payments and the initial transaction before enabling another schedule. Contact support if you cannot establish whether the first schedule was saved.
