Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app and web account; follow the platform labels in the steps.
Use the receive screen for the exact crypto asset and network you intend to receive. The receive screen provides an address and QR code for sharing with the sender.
Before you start
Confirm the asset and network for the receiving wallet before copying an address or sharing its QR code.
Steps
- Open Receive or Deposit money and choose Crypto on-chain, or open a wallet and choose Receive.
- Choose the destination wallet, asset, and network. On mobile, the flow includes Select destination and Select currency.
- In the mobile method chooser, select Deposit to display the selected asset’s receiving address and QR code.
- Read the warning for that exact asset and network. Check the address again after changing either selection.
- Use Copy or Copy address, or Show QR-code where that control is offered.
- To include an amount in the mobile request, choose Set amount, enter the token amount and check its fiat equivalent, then choose Set. The requested amount appears as a chip; use X to remove it.
- On the web, Share opens Share wallet address so you can enter an email address and an optional message; the form describes sharing the address and QR code.
- Check the incoming transaction after the sender submits it. Network confirmation and posting to the account can be separate states.
Expected result
The sender receives the wallet instructions for the selected asset and network. Check the incoming transaction separately for network confirmation and account posting.
If something does not work
- If the sender used different receiving instructions, contact support with the transaction reference and selected network. Do not assume the transfer can be recovered.
- Never send a wallet recovery phrase or private key to support.
- Setting a requested amount or sharing a QR code does not itself transfer money or prove a deposit has arrived.
