Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app.
Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The international-wire review offers different ways to handle transfer charges. Compare the explanation, fee and amount shown before selecting an option.
Before you start
Prepare the intended international wire and reach its review screen. Check the current charge explanations, recipient amount and total debit for that transfer.
Steps
- Open the international-wire Review and locate Send as SHA and Send as OUR, or the fee-covering control shown in your flow.
- Read SHA — Shared Charges. It explains that you pay the app fee while intermediary or recipient banks may deduct their fees from the transferred amount.
- Read OUR — Sender Pays All. It describes covering the transfer charges so the intended recipient amount is preserved. Check the terms and any route-specific conditions presented for your actual transfer.
- Compare Pay fee with, Fee, You send or Recipient gets, and the final amount on the send control after changing the selection.
- Authorize only when the selected charge option and displayed debit match your intention, then retain the transaction reference.
What to expect
The review should reflect your chosen charge option, current fee, recipient amount and total debit. Read those values again before authorizing.
If something does not work
- Changing a charge option can change the fee and total. Recheck them before sending.
- Do not use an example fee or exchange rate from another payment to calculate the current debit.
- If the fee or recipient-amount explanation does not match the displayed figures, resolve the discrepancy before authorizing.
