A recipient stores the person or business you want to pay and the payment details you will use. Review those details carefully before saving or sending.
Before you start
Have the intended recipient’s correct details and the payment method you want to save.
Steps
- Open Recipients and choose Add recipient.
- Choose Person or Business. Enter Legal name for a person or Legal business name for a business, matching the name on the receiving bank account.
- Complete Beneficiary name and the address fields requested. Email is for payment receipts; Nickname is a private reference for identifying the recipient.
- Choose Add payment method to save bank details or a wallet address now. On the web, if You can add this later is shown, you can create the recipient and add payment details later.
- Choose Create recipient, then inspect the saved recipient profile.
- Before paying, choose the correct saved payment method and verify its bank details or asset, network, and address.
Expected result
The saved recipient and payment method are available for selection. Verify their bank details or crypto asset, network and address again on the payment review.
If something does not work
- If a field is marked invalid, correct it before continuing. For crypto, verify the selected network as well as the address.
- If the recipient changes their payment instructions, confirm the change through a trusted channel before updating the saved details.
