Where to use this guide: The payment’s shared web tracking page.
An international-payment confirmation can include a tracking link. Its page describes the payment’s progress and provides a way for the recipient to follow it.
Before you start
Use the tracking link supplied with the intended payment confirmation.
Steps
- Open the tracking link supplied with the payment confirmation.
- Check the sender and payment details shown before relying on the status.
- If the status is Scheduled, read the planned send date and any explanation on the page.
- If the status is In transit, read the current stage, such as an intermediary-bank step, and the payment-specific arrival estimate.
- If the status is Delivered, read the delivery explanation and check the recipient account for the actual credit.
- If the link has expired, ask the sender for an updated confirmation. Use the sender or Buburuza support route shown on the page for questions.
Expected result
The page shows the payment information currently available through that link. If it is expired, obtain an updated confirmation from the sender.
If something does not work
- A scheduled payment has not necessarily been sent yet.
- A tracking link and a payment-request link serve different purposes: one reports an outgoing payment, while the other asks someone to pay.
- If the tracking link has expired or no longer opens, ask the sender for current tracking information.
