With collateral is a separate repayment route from using the borrowed crypto asset. Check the selected collateral and resulting loan before confirming.
Before you start
Open the intended active loan and read the terms for using collateral to repay, including any conversion and fee consequences.
Steps
- Open the active loan and choose Repay.
- Select With collateral.
- Review the collateral value and select the collateral asset shown for the repayment.
- Enter the repayment amount or use the available amount control. Check Updated loan and Updated LTV.
- Choose Continue when the amount is complete.
- On Review, check You’re repaying, Loan after repaying, Updated LTV, Liquidation LTV and Liquidation price.
- Use the Repay loan slider when the reviewed repayment matches your intention.
- Check Repayment successful and the resulting loan record. If fully repaid, verify the closed state or Settled loans entry labelled Repaid with collateral.
What to expect
After Repayment successful, inspect the resulting loan balance and status. For a full repayment, check the closed state or Settled loans entry labelled Repaid with collateral.
If something does not work
- Repaying with collateral is different from simply adding collateral to reduce LTV.
- Read the loan terms for conversion, sale, slippage and fee consequences before confirming this route.
- A repayment amount that leaves an Updated loan balance is a partial repayment even if the transaction succeeds.
- If confirmation is interrupted or the outcome is unclear, check the existing transaction and balance before trying again. Contact Buburuza Support with the transaction reference and error message if you cannot establish the result; do not submit a duplicate payment.
