Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app.
Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
Multi-sig pairs an amount trigger with a trusted person who can approve or deny a transaction. It is separate from a spending limit or general shared access.
Before you start
Select the account you intend to protect and confirm the trusted person you want to use. Multi-sig settings are separate from general shared access.
Steps
- Open Multi-signature settings for the intended account and choose Set up.
- In the Amount step, enter the trigger amount and choose Next.
- In Trusted person, search by name or phone, select the person and choose Next when enabled.
- Review the amount and trusted person together. Use Change if the selected person is incorrect, then choose Set up.
- Check the Multi-sig enabled! confirmation on the account.
- Return to Multi-signature settings to inspect the enabled state, amount and trusted person. Use Edit for changes; Delete multi-signature is a separate management entry.
What to expect
Check Multi-sig enabled! and the saved trigger amount and trusted person. Enabling the setting does not approve an individual payment.
If something does not work
- Next is unavailable before a trusted person is selected.
- Enabling the setting does not itself approve a payment. A triggered transaction has its own approval state.
- Check the account and trusted person again before changing a threshold.
