Where to use this guide: Buburuza web account.
Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The desktop import route requires a safety check, network choice and the existing wallet’s secret phrase.
Before you start
Use a private screen and the official wallet-import form. Import only a wallet whose secret phrase belongs to you.
Steps
- Open My wallets and choose Add existing wallet, then Secret phrase.
- Read and confirm the safety statements only if they are accurate: the phrase is yours, it was not supplied by another person or company representative, and you understand the access it grants.
- Choose the applicable multi-coin option or asset/network in the network selector.
- Choose an icon/name and enter the existing secret phrase in the dedicated field. The helper describes words separated by spaces; use the phrase’s original word order.
- Choose Continue and check the imported wallet in My wallets.
What to expect
Check the intended wallet and network in My wallets after continuing. Entering a phrase and selecting a network alone are preparation steps, not proof of a completed import.
If something does not work
- Never send a secret phrase to support or paste one provided by another person.
- Follow the instructions supplied for the import method you select. Private key, iCloud, View-only wallet, Keystore and Swift require their own information; do not substitute a secret phrase into another method’s field.
- A selected network and a pasted phrase are preparation states; check the wallet-list result before assuming the import completed.
Still need help?
Contact Buburuza Support with the affected setting and error text. Never send a password, PIN, one-time code, recovery code, secret phrase, private key or a screenshot containing them. If you suspect unauthorized activity, use the unauthorized activity and fraud reporting guide.
