Where to use this guide
Buburuza mobile and web accounts. Initial acceptance and a later updated-terms notice are separate steps; restrictions depend on the notice shown for your service.
Read the Terms of Service presented for the service you are using before you accept them. This article explains how to approach that step; it does not replace the terms or other disclosures shown in the app.
Review before accepting
- Check which service and provider the terms cover.
- Read the eligibility requirements, fees, restrictions, account responsibilities and cancellation or closure provisions.
- Review any linked privacy notice and other documents presented with the terms.
- Keep a copy or use the download option if one is provided.
Only confirm acceptance if you have read and agree to the terms. If a document will not open, or something is unclear, pause and contact support before proceeding.
When your account asks you to accept updated terms
When Buburuza asks you to accept updated terms, read the linked documents and the notice explaining any account restriction. If the notice says you can still receive money while sending is paused, that describes the updated-terms restriction; check any other account notices separately.
- Open Accept the updated terms, or choose Review from the Sending is paused banner.
- Open and read the linked Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and check the update information.
- Choose Accept and continue if you agree.
- Choose Not now if you need to return later. The notice explains that sending stays paused while acceptance is outstanding.
- Return to the account and check the banner or sending state. Use support if you need clarification about the documents.
Expected result
After choosing an action, check the notice and account state. Dismissing an update is not acceptance, and acceptance alone does not complete other account checks.
If the updated-terms notice remains
- If an action is unavailable, check whether the terms notice is still outstanding.
- Do not assume dismissing the notice has recorded acceptance. Check the account state after any action you take.
After acceptance
Follow the next steps shown in the app. After accepting the terms, check any outstanding identity-verification steps and which services are available to your account.
