The mobile card Settings area separates payment-channel controls from funding, limits, shared access, and multi-signature approval.
Before you start
Select the intended card and confirm you have permission to change its payment controls.
Steps
- Open Cards, use All cards to select the intended card, and check its masked ending.
- Scroll to Settings.
- Review Online transactions, International payments, Contactless card payments, and Cash withdrawal as separate controls.
- Change only the intended payment-channel control and complete any confirmation displayed.
- Return to the same card and check the displayed control state. If a payment is affected, inspect its own transaction result.
Expected result
The selected card displays the resulting control state. Check affected transaction results separately.
If something does not work
- A payment-channel setting is not the same as terminating a card or freezing it.
- Check the funding balance, spending limit, shared access, and multi-signature settings separately when investigating a payment.
- The Behave as credit card information modal describes a card-behavior setting; it does not establish a credit line or borrowing facility.
