Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The direct-deposit card currency selector allows one currency per card.
Before you start
These steps apply to a directly funded card whose Settings offers Currency. A card funded from linked accounts uses a separate configuration.
Steps
- Open the directly funded card, then Settings and Currency.
- On Select currency for your card, use Search to find the intended currency.
- Select one currency and choose Set up.
- Return to the card and check the selected currency before starting a top-up or payment.
What to expect
Return to the card and check that the intended currency is selected. This setting alone is not evidence that an existing balance was converted.
If something does not work
- This selector is explicitly labelled for Direct Deposit Type only. A linked-account card has a different funding configuration.
- Choosing a currency does not by itself establish that an existing balance was converted.
- Choose a currency offered in the card’s current selector.
