Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The desktop card settings separate funding mode, connected-account priority, shared-user permissions and trusted-person approval.
Before you start
Select the intended card and check your permissions to change its funding or shared access. Review the funding-change warning before proceeding.
Steps
- Open the intended card’s Settings and Deposit type. Read the warning that switching from direct deposit to connected-account funding freezes the card.
- Choose Connect to account. Select one source, or use Select many and check the intended fiat accounts or crypto assets.
- For multiple sources, inspect the numbered order. Drag the handles to reorder; use X to remove a source. Choose Continue with multiple accounts.
- Review the ordered connected-account list and choose the setup action. Check Deposit type changed and the resulting connected-account rows.
- For an existing connection, use Edit, Connect other account or Switch to direct deposit as needed, then review the resulting setup.
- To share access, use the card’s sharing controls to select a contact or copy its invitation link. Review the intended people before Share access and check Access is shared.
- Open the person’s permissions to review access to card editing, PIN, transaction history, spending limits, shared access, Multi-sig and Settings, plus the individual capability toggles. Choose Grant access after reviewing them.
- For trusted-person approval, configure the amount and trusted person in Multi-sig, review the summary and choose Set up. Check Multi-sig is set, then inspect enabled state, Change, Edit and Delete controls separately from shared access.
What to expect
Check the deposit-type confirmation and saved account order, each person’s permissions and the Multi-sig summary. These are separate controls and none alone approves a pending payment.
If something does not work
- Reordering funding sources is different from selecting or removing them.
- The funding helper describes fallback to later accounts, but conversion pricing must be checked in the actual product.
- Sharing a card does not automatically give every capability or approve a pending payment.
- A shared-user removal, disabled sharing and a change to the Multi-sig trusted person are different actions.
