Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The desktop card view combines card information, PIN access, freeze, spending limits and payment-channel settings in drawers beside the card.
Before you start
Open the intended card and check which controls your access permits. View or copy card details and PINs only in a private setting.
Steps
- Open All cards. Choose Personal or Shared, then the intended Virtual or Physical card.
- Choose Details to inspect the card fields and use the relevant copy control. Check the selected card before copying sensitive information.
- Choose View PIN and complete Enter your passcode. Use Copy PIN if needed, or Create new PIN to enter and repeat a replacement PIN; check New PIN is set.
- Use Freeze when you intend to freeze the card. The frozen view offers Unfreeze.
- Open the edit drawer for Design, Name on card or Short name. Use Choose for a design and Set for the name fields. Short name is described as shown only in Buburuza.
- Use Set a spending limit or Edit a spending limit. Choose Monthly, Weekly or Daily, enter the amount and choose Set. Check the success notice and usage counters; each limit has Edit/Delete.
- In Settings, review Currency and the individual Online transactions, International payments, Contactless card payments and Cash withdrawal toggles.
- For a currency change, search and select the intended currency, then Set up. The drawer describes one currency per card.
- Use transaction search and filters to locate card activity. Open a record for its status, card, fees, Attach, note and Excluded from analytics controls.
What to expect
After a settings change, inspect the selected card’s saved value or confirmation. Check freeze, limits and payment-channel controls separately when diagnosing a card issue.
If something does not work
- A card PIN and the app passcode used to view it are separate credentials.
- Freeze, spending limits and payment-channel permissions are separate controls; inspect all relevant settings when investigating a card issue.
- Behave as credit card is an additional information/control entry. It does not establish a credit facility or guarantee merchant acceptance.
- Before using Reissue card, Terminate card or Dispute, read the requirements and confirmation shown for that action.
