Deposit type distinguishes keeping funds directly on a card from connecting the card to an account. Check the selected funding mode before topping up or spending.
Before you start
Select the intended card and the source account or accounts you want linked to its funding configuration.
Steps
- Open Deposit type during card creation, or open the existing card’s Settings and Deposit type.
- Choose Keep direct deposit for direct funding, or Connect to account to choose linked accounts.
- Use Search and the Fiat list or expandable Crypto wallet groups to find the funding account. For one source, select it and review the Connected accounts sheet, then choose Continue.
- To link several sources, choose Select many and check the intended accounts. Their numbered positions show the selected order. Choose Done when the selection is complete.
- Use the drag handles to reorder selected accounts. Swipe a selected row aside and use X to remove it from the selection.
- Choose Continue with multiple accounts. Check the ordered list in Connected accounts, then choose Continue.
- For a card already connected to accounts, open Connected accounts and choose Edit. Use Connect other accounts to add sources, reorder using the handles, and choose Set up.
- Check the changed-deposit or connected-accounts confirmation and the card’s resulting Connected accounts section.
- To return to direct funding, choose Switch to direct deposit and check the confirmation. Top up and Withdraw start separate funding journeys.
Expected result
The card shows the selected deposit type and connected sources. Top up and Withdraw remain separate funding actions.
If something does not work
- Continue with multiple accounts is disabled when no account is selected.
- The card can display a zero card balance while showing a separate connected-account balance. Check both the funding mode and linked balances.
- Check the connected-account order and available balances. Review applicable conversion and fee information before relying on a later account to fund spending.
- A single connected account provides one funding balance. Add another account if you want another funding option, then review the saved order.
