Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The Swift wallet setup treats a passkey as the key to that wallet. It is separate from a passkey used only to sign in to your Buburuza account.
Before you start
Use these steps only for a Swift wallet option offered by your account. Keep its recovery passkey separate from an ordinary account sign-in passkey.
Steps
- Choose Swift from the wallet creation or existing-wallet choices shown in My wallets.
- Read Passkey is the key to your wallet.
- Review the three acknowledgements: enable iCloud Passwords and Keychain, use the passkey for recovery on a replacement device, and understand the warning about losing wallet access if the passkey is deleted.
- Complete the Quick quiz about deleting a wallet passkey. If Wrong answer appears, choose Try again; if Correct appears, choose Got it.
- On Set wallet, choose an icon and Wallet name. The shown name rule is four to twenty-four characters. Choose Continue.
What to expect
Complete the passkey-safety check and wallet naming steps, then inspect the setup state presented by the app. Passing the quiz does not confirm a tested backup or restoration.
If something does not work
- Deleting a Swift wallet passkey can cause loss of access to the wallet and funds. Keep wallet recovery separate from account-login passkey management.
- Keep ordinary account authentication, app unlocking and wallet recovery separate.
- The quiz checks understanding. Passing it does not establish that a device backup or restoration has been tested.
