Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
The eSIM overview shows the selected eSIM, its installation status, and its plans. Check the selected card before adding data or opening Settings.
Before you start
Select the intended eSIM and plan. Read the current plan terms before adding data, reinstalling or removing it.
Steps
- Open eSIM. Swipe the card carousel if you have more than one eSIM and select the intended card.
- Read the plan country, validity date, remaining allowance and usage percentage where shown. Not activated is a separate plan state.
- To buy more data, use Add data or the plus beside a plan. Review the destination, allowance, duration and payment before confirming the purchase.
- Use All plans where it appears to open the available plan view.
- Open Settings for the eSIM management choices. Reinstall leads to the device installation flow; follow its current instructions.
- If you choose removal, read the Active plans will be removed warning. Choose Close to keep the eSIM, or Delete anyway only when you intend that removal.
What to expect
After any purchase or management action, check the selected eSIM’s actual installation and plan status. A purchased, installed and activated plan are separate states.
If something does not work
- Check which eSIM is selected before purchasing a plan; multiple cards can have different destinations and installation states.
- Check the plan terms for the activation event and when the validity period begins.
- Treat removal as a separate action from pausing a plan. Confirm its effect on access, remaining data and any refund before proceeding; do not use it as an assumed connectivity fix.
