Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app.
Choose a destination and data plan, review how you will pay, then check the purchase result. Buying a plan and installing an eSIM are separate steps.
Before paying, check the provider's compatibility requirements for your device and the plan's coverage, activation and validity conditions. If you cannot confirm that the plan will work for your device and destination, ask support before purchase.
Before you start
Check that the offered plan suits your intended destination and device, and review its current terms before purchasing.
Steps
- Open eSIM and choose Get eSIM for your first eSIM, or + New eSIM when you already have one.
- In Explore plans, search for your destination or choose it from Top picks or All destinations.
- Review the allowance, duration and price. If Unlimited GB is offered, select the number of days shown by that plan. Choose Continue.
- In Purchase eSIM, choose Your Buburuza to select an offered account or card, or External to use an available external payment method.
- For an external card, choose a saved card or New card. A new-card form asks for card number, expiration date and CVV and lets you choose whether to save the card for future topups.
- On Review, check Country of use, Plan, Type, Duration, Total amount and Payment method. Correct anything that does not match your trip or intended payment.
- Use the final Buy or Continue control shown for the selected method and complete any payment prompts provided. Check the result: Processing your payment is separate from the ready screen.
- When the eSIM is ready, choose Install or Install later. Return to the eSIM overview to check its status.
Expected result
When the eSIM is ready, Install or Install later is offered. Inspect its status in the overview; purchase and installation are separate stages.
If something does not work
- Use an enabled payment method offered to you. A method labelled Coming soon cannot be selected for payment.
- If payment is processing, check that existing purchase before starting another one.
- Review the plan details for supported destinations, duration, data use and price. Check fair-use, speed and renewal conditions even when a plan is labelled Unlimited.
- Purchase readiness does not mean the eSIM is installed or the plan is activated.
