Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
Open an account for an offered currency, review its terms, then identify it by a name and icon. Opening an account and adding money are separate tasks.
Before you start
Use an account that offers the new-currency-account controls. Be ready to read the current terms and fees before accepting them.
Steps
- From Bank Home, open All accounts & wallets. Use Search or swipe through the fiat-account cards to find the Open tile.
- Choose Open and read the Open account introduction. Select Open account to reach the currency list.
- Search for the currency or choose one from the offered list.
- Read the currency-specific Terms of use and fee information. Scroll through the terms and open the linked full agreement as needed.
- If you agree to the presented terms, select the acknowledgement and choose I agree when enabled.
- Check the new account screen and its balance. A new account may show No transactions yet and Top up wallet.
- Open Customize to select an icon and change the account name, then Save. Use Close to leave the customization sheet.
- Use the account’s Top up, Convert or Send action for the next task and review that action separately.
What to expect
Check the new account and its selected currency, name and balance. Opening an account is separate from funding it; it can start with no transactions.
If something does not work
- If I agree is unavailable, check the required reading/acknowledgement state before proceeding.
- A newly opened account can have a zero balance and empty history.
- Select a currency currently offered for your account.
