Account sharing gives another person selected permissions. Review the person and each permission before creating or sending an invitation.
Before you start
Select the account and intended person, and check each permission before sharing access.
Steps
- Open the intended account and choose Shared access. Read Share access to this account and choose Share to continue.
- In Select a person, search by name or phone and choose the intended person. Share via link provides a separate invitation-link route.
- On Set the limits, inspect the selected person and Fast access controls such as Grant access and View only.
- Review Custom settings individually: Account edit, PIN, Transaction history, Spending limits, Shared access, Multi-sig and Settings. Check the value shown for each permission.
- Check Can see account details and Can terminate account separately because they grant different powers.
- Choose Set up to apply the intended permission configuration, or Cancel to leave it.
- For the link route, use Copy link from Share this account and share it only with the intended person. Check the account’s resulting access state when the invite is accepted.
Expected result
Review the resulting access state. Copying an invitation link is separate from its acceptance and the person’s effective permissions.
If something does not work
- An invitation link is not the same as receiving-bank details.
- View only and permission to send/manage are different. Do not assume all listed controls share the same access level.
- Creating an invitation does not prove that the other person accepted it or completed verification.
