Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app and web account; follow the platform labels in the steps.
The mobile and web closure screens use different processes. Read the process for the platform you are using and settle questions about remaining funds before completing an irreversible confirmation.
Check remaining funds and pending activity before starting. If anything is unresolved, contact support before choosing Continue or Delete Forever. Account closure, wallet removal and deletion of the mobile app are different actions.
Before you start
Confirm the account you intend to close and read the route and final confirmation shown on your platform. Seek support when the meaning or effect is unclear.
Steps
- On the web, open Settings, then Profile, and find Close your account.
- Review the instruction to withdraw the remaining balance, then choose Contact support to close and follow the account-specific process.
- On mobile, open Settings and choose Delete account.
- Read the full deletion warning. The warning says the account cannot be recovered or used afterward and that any assets left in the wallet become inaccessible.
- Choose Continue only after addressing the warning. Enter the email code in the app if you decide to proceed.
- Read the final Delete Forever confirmation and complete it only when you intend to delete the account. Keep the resulting confirmation or contact support if the final state is unclear.
Expected result
Retain the resulting confirmation or support conversation. A request for assistance and a completed deletion confirmation are different outcomes.
If something does not work
- Do not assume deleting the mobile app closes your financial account.
- If you see a self-service deletion option, read the confirmation carefully and ask support about unresolved funds or activity before proceeding.
