The mobile new-card journey separates card creation from funding. A newly created card can still have no available balance.
Before you start
Use the New card journey offered in your account and select Virtual. Review available funding and setup choices for that card.
Steps
- Open the New card journey and, at Choose card type, choose Virtual.
- Review the virtual-card introduction and continue using its card-creation action.
- If the Buburuza Pro introduction appears, review Get a Pro account or choose Skip to continue without taking that optional branch.
- Wait while the card-creation processing screen is shown.
- At Deposit type, choose Keep direct deposit or Connect to account according to how you want to fund the card.
- Read Your card has been created! Choose Top up balance to continue to funding, or Skip to return without topping up.
- On the card summary, check the balance, deposit type, and available card controls before using the card.
Expected result
The card summary shows its balance, deposit type and available controls for inspection before use.
If something does not work
- A created card is not automatically funded. The zero-balance summary has an empty transaction history.
- The selector also shows Physical marked Pro and Link it here for an existing card. Those are separate routes, not extra virtual-card steps.
- Read the current card terms for fees and any cashback offer before creating the card.
