Where to use this guide: Buburuza mobile app.
Use these instructions for the selected account when it offers the feature and controls described below.
Shared access lets you choose people and configure their rights to the card. A shared card does not imply that every person receives unrestricted control or joint ownership.
Before you start
Use a card for which your account offers sharing controls. Confirm the intended person before sending an invitation or granting access.
Steps
- Open the card’s sharing entry. Share this card offers an invitation link with Copy link or Choose a contact. In an existing Shared access list, use Add new user.
- In Select a person, search by name or phone, select the intended people, and choose Share access.
- Open the person’s settings and review Card edit, PIN, Transaction history, Spending limits, Shared access, Multi-sig, and Settings separately.
- Choose the permission level for each item. Options can include View only, Full access and All users; read the choices available for that permission.
- Review the separate toggles for seeing card details, using the credit-card behavior setting, freezing, reissuing, and terminating the card.
- Choose Grant access and check the Access is shared banner and the user list on the card.
- To change a person later, open their menu and choose Edit. To remove their access, use Delete or Detach user when that is the action shown, and review any confirmation before completing the change.
- Use Switch off shared access when you intend to disable card sharing as a whole, and review the displayed result.
What to expect
After Grant access, check Access is shared and inspect each person’s saved permissions. A copied invitation link alone does not confirm that the intended access has been granted.
If something does not work
- Check every permission; permission to view a transaction history is not permission to reveal card details or terminate a card.
- Changing a shared-access user is separate from changing the trusted person for multi-signature.
- After changing access, check the saved permissions. Review transaction status and active sessions separately.
- Share access is disabled while no contact is selected. Copying an invitation link is separate from the per-person permission configuration and Grant access result.
- If a person or permission is incorrect, correct it before granting access. If the saved permissions remain unclear, contact Buburuza Support with the affected setting and avoid sharing a card PIN or full card details.
